Welcome to the PATIENT+ decision aid

How can this decision aid help you?

Fractures of the radial head that are close to their usual position heal on their own. All you have to do is stretch and move your elbow so it doesn’t get stiff.

Some fractures of the radial head are more than 2 millimeters out of place. There are two ways to treat such fractures. This decision aid describes the pluses and minuses of each treatment. You and your doctor can decide which treatment is best for you.

You can print this decision aid and get the advice of family and friends.
