Half of all wrists have a ganglion. Many are visible. Ganglions are harmless. They look funny, but the surgical scar might not look much better.

Results

Almost all patients get used to the swelling and are satisfied without getting any treatment. In about 50 of 100 patients the ganglion cyst becomes less prominent.¹
