Disadvantages

You may consider a prosthesis undesirable, and it is not easy for anyone to agree to removing their foot.

As you recover from the surgery you will have some pain in the amputated limb. We will help you learn ways to get as comfortable as possible. As the year passes, you will have less pain.¹²
